Perhaps you have been experiencing the same problem; in the last two weeks or so I have had problems with a new kind of insidious spamming.  I have a high-speed cable modem and as such it’s always live. Web pages for advertising appear without warning including sound! I would like to block this trash but I have not found out how to do this at present. I have a pop-up blocker so that’s not the solution.

 

Anyone out there having the same problem? Have you found a solution?
